WELCOME TO TEAM 9900 THE BREAKFAST CLUB!

We are a team of 6 Scituate High School students interested in Robotics and Engineering. This year, we will work together and with our coach Shannon Donavan to build a robot to compete in this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge! Our robot will have to be designed and programmed to complete specific tasks to earn points. To learn more click the link below!

What is FIRST?

FIRST, or For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, is an organization dedicated to developing the interest of youth in Engineering. They emphases the importance of core values such as gracious professionalism while teaching valuable skills involving math, science, and technology. In just kindergarten, students can get involved with FIRST through their junior FIRST Lego League (JFLL) program. As their knowledge begins to develop they can advance to FLL in 4th to 8thgrade. From Grades 7 to 12 students can join the FTC program, and the final step, grades 9 through 12 can compete in the FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC).

This year, part of the FTC competition was to make a parody of a popular song to involve FIRST! Check out what we came up with!
